Sewing Lessons for Children, Teenager, and
Adults, Age 6 years old and
up. These classes are designed to teach beginning sewing skills using hands-on, step-by-step instructions. Students
will learn how to: Operate a sewing machine; lay-out and cut patterns for clothes and/or craft projects; put in zippers;
make button holes; etc. After mastering the basics, students will have the opportunity to move on to more challenging
projects. Students can express their own unique style and personality by picking out their fabric and adding their own
special touches to the garments and crafts they make.
There is a maximum
of four students per class so everyone receives personalized sewing instruction which is taught by a licensed "Kids Can Sew & Fashion Design" instructor.

Sewing machines and other sewing tools (scissors, tape measure, pins, etc) are
provided.
Students provide their own fabric and notions (thread,
buttons, zippers, etc.) for weekly and Saturday classes.
